Absolutely incredible! Good old fashioned one to one, attentive service but even more importantly, these guys seriously know their industry and products! I was blown away and can't WAIT for my next run
Went to The Running Company Lilydale yesterday to update my road and trail shoes - walked away feeling very satisfied with my purchases. The expert, professional & friendly service from Bec and Steve is fabulous. And knowing that they trust every product in their shop gives us great comfort when buying from them. Had a run in the Mizunos this morning and absolutely loved them.
We LOVE our new shoes from The Running Company Lilydale! Stephen and Bec were so professional, they genuinely cared about finding the right shoes for us and had an air of positivity and excitement that they could help. Go and visit! You won't regret it
Great service and amazing advice. The Yarra valley needs this place!
The Running Company – Lilydale Running Club is completely free. It is also a great opportunity to keep fit and meet new people.
Every Tuesday morning – meeting at the store at 6:20am for a 6:30am start, very social – everyone welcome.

We try to vary it every week but it’s usually around 4-7km at varying paces so inclusive for people of all abilities as opposed to exclusive and only for fast runners. We upload the route to Facebook on Monday or Tuesday of every week.

WE LOVE RUNNING!
Steve and Bec having grown up and lived in the Lilydale area for years!
Running came around for Bec with a run to the milk bar and back – roughly 3km – in a pair of jeans, a raincoat, and an old pair of runners that had never actually been used for running!
A attempt at 27 years of age to perhaps become a runner?!
Two knee reconstructions…why not right?!
It got Bec good – hook, line, and sinker! Before she knew it she was running several times a week, extending the duration, running faster, and running further.
For Steve – it was chasing BEC!!!
Both fell in love with (with each other and running) so much that they earned their accredited coaching pass and set up their own running squad in Lilydale called “Generation Run” and if you live in the area or even walk around the lake, there’s a fair chance you’ve seen them, with over 150 members of the squad, it’s hard to miss!
With Steve and Bec both having completed numerous road and trail half, full and ultra marathons and Steve having over 8 years experience in both footwear wholesale and retail, they’re the perfect pair to help the amazing people in the Lilydale area get moving and keep moving!
