Newstead

The Running Company Newstead is conveniently located in Brisbane’s Newstead’s inner northern riverside suburb. Nestled between James Street and Gasworks, the store has five customer parks at the front and additional on-street parking. This is the company’s first venture in Brisbane, with owners Ethan and Sam opening the doors for the first time in November 2024. 

Ethan and Sam have a simple goal; to help everyone with their ability to move. Having learned their shoe fitting skills under the guidance of Chris (Chicken) Chapman (founder of TRC), Chris Wight (Clifton Hill owner) and Brad Wauer (Sunshine Coast owner), Ethan and Sam have 15 + years of experience in fitting shoes. They both utilise their backgrounds in sports science (Sam with a PhD) and athletic endeavours (marathon, triathlon and trail racing) to provide expert advice to everyone who steps foot in-store.
