Mike has been in Australia since 2010 and recently became a citizen. Born and raised in the UK he played hockey for Great Britain before discovering the joy of running. The Running Company Launceston was Mike’s originakl store and was open for more than a decade and plays an important role in the local running community. Now just recently moving his store up to the West End in Brisbane and opening in sunny Queensland.
Together with his partner Caroline and two sports mad boys they participates in all that the beautiful island of Tasmania has to offer.
Favourite Run:
A loop along the banks of the River Thames in London between the Houses of Parliament and Tower Bridge.
Best Running Moment:
Crossing the finishing line of my first marathon, New York City in 1991.
