As a kid, Mitch competed in XC at school and his local athletics club for weekend meets. Running was overlooked for a few years in lieu of other outdoor pursuits, but became inescapable after a block of structured training in his early 20’s. With fleeting periods of competitiveness, running had become grounded in daily practice, in his own words; ‘It just makes sense’.
