The New Balance Vongo series has always been known for max stability. Version 5 comes with some big updates which could make it NB’s best stability shoe to date.

The midsole has full-length Fresh Foam X which offers a high level of cushioning, a very soft design, and looks similar to the 1080s but now with a posted design on the medial side. It’s a very unique design where NB is using gradient posting technology, which means they’ve injected a bunch of pellets into the midsole and the pellets get even firmer as they move towards the medial side walls offering a high level of stability and an even smoother ride.

The outsole has lots of rubber for plenty of traction, plenty of durability for your longer runs. Finishing off the shoe is a new synthetic mesh upper, looks and feels like 1080. Very comfortable on-foot feel. The heel is not quite as pronounced but offers a soft and comfortable upper fit and plenty of support built for your long daily runs. Overall the Vongo 5 is your max stability, highly cushioned premium daily trainer. With some big updates over the previous version creating a softer, lighter and an even more comfortable ride which could be one of the best max feeling NB stability shoes to date. Key Features:
