I just want to let you know I just had my most positive shopping experience in years in a bricks a mortar store, at your Yarraville branch. Your shop is the answer to the question of how bricks and mortar shops can survive in the online shopping age. Great staff with the ability to add so much value. Renee who served me is at the top of her game, a true subject matter expert. She was able to assess my requirements and match that to multiple shoes, great communication of the technical differences between the shoes, and ways to narrow down the selection. Although the shop was busy with people, Renee was generous with her time and I never felt rushed. I left the shop with a new pair of shoes in no doubt I had the pair best suited to me.

Having suffered an ankle injury while running in ill-fitting inferior running shoes, Brad @ the Running Company provided excellent customer service and recommend the right shoe for my stride. My ankle has never felt better and now I’m achieving longer distances with every run.

I just wanted to pass on my thanks for all your support. Over the weekend I hit my 2021 (and overall running) goal of competing in, and finishing, a 100 mile event. Like most events (and plans) it didn’t go quite as expected, regardless, I now have a 105 mile finish to my name at the Youies Hardcore 100.Obviously I’ve been in and out of TRC Lilydale for a while now, from my first pair of Speedgoats to last minute (dorky) legionaries hats (it was well used over the weekend). The support and advice provided is always appreciated (and needed), in no small way did it contribute to me achieving my goal on the weekend. Good advice can be hard to find, and speaking with all of you I’ve been given amazing advice on what to try with nutrition (Maurten’s and Tailwind for the win), gear for all climates and even changing up my road shoes to something I’d have never tried (but worked out incredibly - NB 880s).Anyway, I wanted to pass on my thanks and appreciation. I’ve left reviews previously, but this needed a little more - thank you for your support, help and guidance.
